A Little Late Anniversary Posting!

Us 14 Years ago!

Us 14 Years later!

Feb. 8th was mine and my Hubby's 14 year anniversary! Since the very first day I met this guy he's been the light of my life and has been there for me though thick and thin! There is not a day that goes by that I'm blessed with him! I love him so very much!

This is a little something I made for him for this special day. He loves to go duck hunting and his bathroom is all decorated in ducks. So thought this could be a little something to add to it...


Every year we visit the Bosque Del Apache it's a wildlife refuge about 45 mins or so from our home town. We have been visiting this place since we first met and just about every year after that for the Festival of Cranes. This last year when we went we were reading about ducks and he was telling me about the "Coots". I never heard or I don't think seen one of these ducks before but the sign was funny because it said "That's some Coot!". We thought it was so funny so we say that all the time now and laugh...guess it's something you had to be there for haha!

Sharing some Valentine Love!

(I got the tutorial for this cutie up above over at Carolina's Creative Pad)

I'm so sad that Valentine's Day is just about over! I really love this holiday...all the red, white and pink stuff all over the place and all the AMAZING projects that all the crafty ladies on the internet have to share. I did a few last min. crafts of my own for the family so I wanted to come on and share them with everyone that visits my blog.

(for the Converstation candy box holders up above...I got the directions for this simple and cute idea here at Clearly iStamp. I did change up the wrap measurements because I only wanted to use one box instead of two.)

If you would like use only one box just cut the outside wrap to 3x7 and score at 1 1/8.

DZ Doodles NEW Image!

I can't beleive the last time I posted was Jan. 31st! Where in the world does the time go??? The scrapbook retreat that I attended 2 weekends ago was SO much fun and I got 20 scrapbook pages done and even made some new friends! I can't wait till the next one.

DZ Doodles has bunches of NEW digital images and they are so ADORABLE...you gotta go over and check them out for yourself! Here tonight I have a card to share with you with one of the newest images called "Bunny Eggsentiment" isn't this bunny the cutest EVER! And I just love how you can use patterned paper on the egg or decorate it anyway you want! SO CUTE!

Sassyland Sneak Peeks!

Happy Friday Peeps!

I'm so exciting I'll be leaving in a couple of hours to a scrapbook retreat!!! EEEEP! I can't wait to get some scrapbooking done and hang out with all kinds of cool chicks!!! YAY!

Sassy Studio POLKA DOT Challenge!

I made this card yesterday...It was part of the Whimsical Wednesday challenge #20 but then I found out late that I need to use a specific image SO I made two cards for the challenge...and since I loved the colors so much I didn't mind! It's hump day Wednsday YAY! I can't wait till this coming weekend...I'm going to be attending a scrapbook retreat ALL weekend! It's going to be a blast!!!

And here is the card that I made...what beautiful colors! I wouldn't have EVER thought to use them together! I'm liking a lot!

A Birthday Gift

I made this for a friend of mines birthday last week and I wanted to share! I got the instructions from Splitcoast Stampers HERE! All the papers, ribbon and stamps that I used on this project are from Stampin Up! The little card that I made for the inside I stuck a gift card in.

It's FRIDAY!

I just can't believe it's FRIDAY again! I can't believe I even had time this week to make another card. It's just been one crazy week! Next week I promise I will over fill my blog with cards..ok ok maybe not over fill but more than 2.

I used one of the newest little girls called Garden Blooms Girl from DZ Doodles along with a little inspiration from CardPatterns sketch #47.

I'm so sorry I'm posting my sneak peek and challenge card for the week late...I have had so much to do today so it's been kind of crazy. Now I'm getting ready to go cook dinner YUM! A New Image from DZ Doodles!

DZ Doodles New Release & A New Year!!!

Happy New Year!!!

DZ Doodles is on a roll again starting this New Year off with NEW digital images YAY! I was able to play with one of the many images that will be released today! I thought I would make a digital layout with the image that I received, so you can see how digital images can be used in many different ways...not just printing and coloring and here it is!!! There are so many different ways to use digital images it's wonderful...so if you haven't yet tried them you need to because you will LOVE them. I colored the image using photoshop.
