Hello "echo" "echo" haha!

Well hello everyone! Sorry I've been missing in action for the last few days. Last weekend I was gone on a family vacation in Las Vegas. We all had so much fun! I was even lucky enough to go see Cher in concert at Ceasers Palace and she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! Her dancers and her costumes and her stages were awesome!

Trish and I finally got together to stamp last Thursday...which we hadn't done for the last few weeks and BOY did I miss it!!! She got here at around 12ish and we ate some lunch and we were laughing so hard because we couldn't get with it and stamp after all that time (long time 3 weeks??? LOL!). It's like we needed to grease up our gears haha! This is a picture that we took after the LONG day of stamping together.

We used some challenges from Poetic Artistry's ( http://poeticartistry.blogspot.com/ )
This is the card that I made for Mojo Monday week #54. You can find the sketch here http://poeticartistry.blogspot.com/2008/09/mojo-monday-week-54.html

The second sketch from Poetic Artistry we used was Mojo Monday week #51 http://poeticartistry.blogspot.com/2008/09/mojo-monday-week-51-mojo-madness.html and here is the card that I made for that sketch challenge.

On this next card I used was Mojo Monday week #53 sketch that's here http://poeticartistry.blogspot.com/2008/09/mojo-monday-week-53.html A few weeks back I had bought this cute "little tees" stamp set from Gina K's Designs http://shop.ginakdesigns.com/product.sc?categoryId=11&productId=193 . I just HAD to have it because I was seeing SO many cute cards using this set. Here is the card that I made using my set...I can't wait till I get some more time to use this set again VERY SOON!

And last but not least the little piggy card.

I will link Trish's cards here once she gets her cards up on her blog that she made on Thursday.

Jeff's Creation's ROCK!

A few months ago I was surfing blog land and came across this blog called Crafty Storage http://craftystorage.blogspot.com/ that posts different peoples craft rooms and their great organizing ideas. That's when I came across this post http://craftystorage.blogspot.com/2008/04/creations-by-jeff.html and then I read on and seen that he does it for a business and that's when I new I had to have one! So I visited his blog here http://creationsbyjeff.vox.com/ and emailed Jeff. We chit chatted back and forth and I thought ok..what do I really want to store my ribbon in and told Jeff what it was I was thinking and WALA he came up with this AMAZING ribbon holder for me! It was just like I had dreamed...it was PERFECT!!!

I got up my ribbon holder on the wall finally after a month or two (I just LOVE this thing) then there was an empty space next to it on the wall and I thought ok..what is it I need there??? I thought OHHHH I can have Jeff make me an ink holder to match. I did need a bigger ink holder since I'm out growing the little 72 ink holder that I have now haha! So I emailed Jeff right away and we talked about it and he said he could do it! Isn't this guy just AWESOME??? And the coolest thing is I get to pick it up from him in Las Vegas in a couple weekends and I get to meet him! How awesome is that? I will be posting my ink holder VERY soon.

Thank you Jeff you ROCK!

HAPPY Friday!

I'm just loving all the Halloween ideas and cards all over blog land and Split coast Stampers website. Today I was looking in the template section at SCS and found a really cute template for a coffin so I had to print it out and get started! It came out so cute and it's super easy to make. I used the cute little Dracula I bought at Mike's a few weeks ago from the dollar spot...he came in very handy for this project! Here is the link to that template if you would like to make one. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=363180

I've had my little house mouse ghost stamp FOREVER..I don't think I have EVER inked him up and used him...poor little thing. He finally came out of the dust to play today and here is the card I made using him.

Hope you have a HAPPY & WONDERFUL weekend! HUGS!

Sunday's Angel Circle & Projects

WOWZERS this week is FLYING by! I can't believe that tomorrow is already Thursday... actually it will be Thursday in 1 hr and 10 mins YIKES! Weekend here I come again haha! It was really nice to have a nice long weekend.

Sunday was the monthly Angel Company circle here at my house. We had a lot more ladies than usual which was VERY cool and lots of fun.

I had a lady from Grants, New Mexico (about 1 hr and 1/2 away from me) signed up to be an Angel which was very cool! She came to the circle on Sunday so that I can show her a few different things to start her business or should I say her addiction haha! Welcome Pat on becoming an Angel!!! She is such a super sweet lady it was VERY nice meeting her. I made her a little something to welcome her.

I made her a 3x3 box with 4 - 3x3 cards with my favorite set from The Angel Co. called "Just Dream". The paper is also from The Angel Co. and it is called "Hemingway". I really enjoyed using these papers they are beautiful. I took pics before giving it to her to share here. Since I was at it I made 2 diff. boxes with the same of the 4 cards in each box.

(above: this was the box I gave Pat)

(below: the 4 cards that went inside the boxes)

For the hostess gift..she got a free stamp set and on the set I made a tag made also with "Just Dream". As you can tell I just LOVE using this set there is so many ways to use it. (sorry about the blurry picture).

Here are the projects that we did for the workshop. The first is a little bag made with an envelope. I got this WONDERFUL idea from Judy. If you would like to make one here is the tutorial on her blog to learn how to make one of your own http://chicnscratch.typepad.com/chic_n_scratch/2008/02/march-stamp-c-1.html she has LOTS of great tutorials be sure to check all of her blog out. She's VERY talented.

The stamp set that we used to make our envelope cards was called "Treasure It".

The second project we did was made with coasters. It's a little sign to hang up. The stamp set that we used on this was called "butterfly swirls". The words on this project was from the "treasure it" stamp set. I just love this set just haven't used it a lot..which I need to start.
