DZ Doodles Challenge #7

Hello Hello! I'm back this week to share with you this weeks DZ Doodle challenge. This week we were to sew on our card/project! I decided to do some faux sewing on mine! The image that I used was the "Cupcake Coffee Cup" isn't it SO cute..well since I love tea...it's what it reminded me of.


I also made another card last week using sewing on my card. I just added a little floss on the top right hand corner. I just can't get enough of the NEW golf images that Diane has in the store right now ready to purchase! Since my hubby loves golf it works out perfect!

DZ Doodles Challenge #6

Today is another day for a DZ Doodles Challenge! YAY! This week the design team was challenge to make a card/project using blue and green! I just love these two colors together! Since it was my hubbies birthday last week on the 10th I'd figure this was a perfect time to get his card done! He loves golf and the NEW DZ Doodle golf images will be released in the next few days....keep looking out for them in the store!

A Birthday Card!

I haven't made any cards this past week. I have been feeling kind of blahish but, I made this for one of one of my Auntie's Birthday at the beginning of March. I wanted to share since I really love the way it came out.

Helloooo Kitty!

Today wasn't a perfect day...last night I went to bed with a HORRIBLE sore throat. I tossed and turned all night long. It hurt so bad to swallow and drink anything...I was afraid I was getting strep so, I drank some hot tea with honey real slow and took an antibiotic since I had a refill from the last time I had an infection. Today I feel a tiny bit better but still not 100% I'm hoping that medication kicks in no matter what it is I have.

This Sat. is Amanda's sweet 16th birthday! This is Trish's adorable daughter that I simply adore. I thought I'd make her a card...she loves the little goth hello kitty so I printed out a coloring page image of hello kitty from online and added a digital skull that I had from Toxic Desirez she makes awesome digital scraps to use for online tags and digital scrapbooking!

Birthday Wishes & A Sneak Peek!

Another one of my bestest friends is celebrating her birthday this month and this is my "Angel" friend MaryJane. Her birthday is today! This amazing lady has been here for me for the last 10 years...she's a very special person in my life...she's so sweet, caring and just all around WONDERFUL! MaryJane I want to wish you a very happy birthday and I hope your day has been filled of wishes coming true and lots of fun because you deserve every bit of it! I love you with all my heart! BIG HUGS to you!

I just HAD to play with another one of the newest digital images from The Digi Shack. This one is really shaking her Hula! hehe! I also got the palm tree from The Digi Shack also it went perfect for the theme I was doing. I have been seeing these stair step cards in the blog land and I just had to try it out..how fun and cute is it? I found the directions to make this here.

Birthday Goodies

My cousin Kelly's birthday was last week and so I made her a few things. She loves frogs so first I made this card. The froggy stamp that I used was from the set Fun Times from Close to my Heart.

I also made her this little altered altoid tin.

And for a while now she has been wanting a picture board. So I decided to make her one and she really loved it!

A little book with BIG hearts!

On my birthday every year it seems when I make it out to stop in and visit my old co-workers. To me that's one of the many perfect gifts to have on my birthday. Is to spend time with the special friends that I have known for about the last 9 years. I really need to get around to see them more and not just once a year. So on my last birthday (2007) I took my camera and took a picture with each and everyone that made it to lunch and this year for my birthday I had a cute little book that I made to share with them. Now I'm sharing it with you all.

I came across this quote today and thought it was a PEFECT quote for my post today.

MY Birthday Weekend...

I had so much fun and had LOTS to do.

On Sat. MaryJane and I had signed up to go to a Stamp Camp a while back and it just so happened it was on my Birthday weekend..woo hoo! It was so much fun, not a lot of people and the projects were super cute, easy and the people were SO super nice! Here are the projects we did minus one of them because I messed it up REALLY bad.

These were hanging on a water bottle isn't it just the cutest idea ever!

Ant picked me up from there and surprised me with these beautiful flowers! (the grad monkey is from my Mom haha! she said that I just about had every single monkey but not a grad monkey so she bought it for me.) She also got me 3 new movies Enchanted, Alvin & The Chipmunks and Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.

After stamp camp was over Anthony and I headed home to rest a little. Then we got ready to go have dinner with Jake and Monique. We went to eat at the Macaroni Grill and then to go watch that movie Ruins. It was a pretty good movie. If you don't like to watch bloody movies DON'T watch this movie haha! They gave me a gift certificate to get a pedicure and Ant got some golf balls and some tee things...don't know much about golf but it was something to do with that.

On Sunday, I had the monthly Stampin Up circle to go to. THAT was lots of fun. We did two super cute projects. MaryJane made this ADORABLE butterfly cupcake for all of us to celebrate my Birthday with and they all even sang me Happy Birthday. They are all soooo SWEET! After the circle was over we headed over to MaryJane. Her and her super amazing cook (her husband) cooked us dinner. We had stuffed chicken, rice and salad and of course another YUMMIE home made carrot cake by MaryJane. BOY was I all caked out the last few days. MMMmmmmMM I love cake so I didn't mind haha!

I also got lots of goodies from my Best Friend Blake which I can't wait to scrap with! I just got another gift in the mail from Sonya it's a BEAUTIFUL statue fairy for my cute backyard! Anita got me a little basket with some goodies that really made me smile it was so CUTE! She said she didn't know what to get me but did know some of the things I did like..A box of cake mix, cupcake cups, frosting, tea, monkey cups in a little cute pink basket! That was just an adorable gift! MaryJane and Bill also got Anthony and I a gift card for the Olive Garden and you know that cute cupcake cup butterfly cake she made me? well I got a pan to make one too!!! Her awesome hubby made us a coat rack (which I don't have pics of because it's at her house still because we couldn't fit it in the car). I got lots of lovely cards and Happy Birthday wishes! I hope I didn't forget anything else.

I would love to thank all the people that spent my birthday with me and thank all for my gifts. cards and most of all for your friendship and love.

MY Birthday!!!

I had such a WONDERFUL day! It's such a blessing when I get to share it with all the people that I love. Of course, there are a few of my friends that I didn't get to spend it with because they live out of town :(.

To start off my day on Friday we first went and had lunch with the Ladies I used to work with many moons ago. These Ladies are some of the most caring and loving people in the whole wide WORLD! They mean the world to me. Three of them were unable to be there but maybe I can go back soon and get together with them.

Then after lunch we headed down to this place called Art Attack. Our original plan was to go to the Zoo but the weather didn't let us do that. So we found this little place to go to where you pick a piece of ceramic and paint it. So Anthony and I did that all afternoon and here are the pics from that. It was SO much fun!

By the time we were done there it was time to meet up with my Parents and Brother for dinner and some shopping. First we went to Target then out to eat at this place called Quarters. They serve BBQ and it's yummie! Then back to our house for some Baskin Robbins ice cream cake!

It turned out to be a wonderful day! There is a lot more to come since I did celebrate my Birthday all weekend long haha!

Happy Birthday to my Sweet Hunny!

Today is Anthony's Birthday! Happy Birthday Hunny! He is ONE wonderful Guy! I love him so much!!! Yesterday I got busy and made him a Birthday card with a new Stampin Up set that I've had for a while called Happy Camper. I just LOVE this set now and want to make lots more cards with it..there are SO many options! I did get a little inspiration from SCS site.

I also made 2 other birthday cards that of course, I'm late on sending. But I guess it's better late than never right? Here are those 2 cards they are just about the same but a little diffrent. I used Pink Cat Studio stamps on them with some Angel Co. scraps I had.
