DZ Doodles Halloween Sketch Challenge

Hi! I'm finally here with my challenge card for DZ Doodles! I used the freebie that is posted for a limited time only on DZ Doodles PCP & SNR sites. I got a little inspiration from a card that I just LOVED on Splitcoast Stampers that is posted >>> CLICK HERE! I wasn't sure what other color to color the cat besides black and found this beautiful card! Thanks for the inspiration!

The dripping goo on my card is a freebie I got from Scrapcation Getaway's blog HERE! I cut it out on my cricut. Thanks so much I love the dripping goo it looks great! She has a great blog and lots of freebies go on and check her out!

HOOTERS!!!

Hello! I didn't get a chance to get my DZ Doodles challenge card today (maybe tomorrow) but, I did want to come on really quick before dinner and post some cards I made before hubby's surgery. My bestest friend Mary Jane gave me the NEW adorable & cute 2 step owl punch from Stampin Up and I just had to fit sometime in before surgery to use it! The little owl is just TOO DARN CUTE!!! I made 3 cards!

The first one was hubby's get well card, the pink one was for Mary Jane as a little gifty and the 3rd was the first get well I made for hubby but then looked to much like 4th of July haha!

Halloween!

I can't believe Halloween is just around the corner...it's one of my favorite holiday's of them all! I got a little time in between playing a nurse today to make a card. I used 3 different images from DZ Doodles. Diane (owner of DZ Doodles) has been drawing her little fingers away and making the cutest digital images! Before I go on to posting my card...there is a challenge going on right now at DZ Doodles SNR group and PCP along with a Halloween freebie..which I will be using tomorrow to make a card to share with you all..so stay tuned!

PS: Hubby's surgery went well and he's recovering! It will be about 6 months to a year for a full recovery but he's on the right track so far! We are just glad it's done and no more worrying. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

OH WOWZERS!

I can't believe that this is my first post since July 1st! How time gets away from us. So many things have happened all summer long in my life..some good and some bad. But I'm hoping things stay going good...so everyone keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers! My hubby will be getting a total elbow replacement in less then 2 weeks so I'm hoping this will be the last of my down time so I can be back here and in my craft room making cards and scrapbooking again! I have made a few in between this all but nothing like normal for me! So after the 15th and time to get home from the hospital and get him settled in I'll BE BACK to attack (keeping my fingers crossed).

YAY!

I'm here and alive...WOW! What a summer it's been busy but very good of course! I can't believe it's been this long since my last post. I kind of fell into a big dark summer hole haha! I just haven't been in the mood to create lately sad..but true! I think it just has something to do with the summer and all the things there is to do and the heat of course doesn't help!

So I got 2 cards to share today...first all my DZ Doodles card I made for the challenge at DZ Doodles Paper Craft Planet. I used the free image that they are giving away with this challenge. Sweet Baby Ella!

My Dear Friend Christine's son and daughter-in-law had a little angel in April and this is what I made for her room! Both were made with my Cricut!

Wanted to come on and say hello and share a little something. I have been really busy this summer..lots going on but I'm trying to keep up with some little things I have made in the last month.

The week before the shower Christine and I got together to make some little things for the shower and here they are! These were also made with my Cricut machine.

Graduation Cards!

This year we have a few kiddo's from our family graduating from High School YAY!!! I wanted to make up some cards and wanted to do something with my NEW cricut so I looked on line for some ideas and found that another blogger used a graduation silhouette so I googled and found one to use online! I'm really happy the way these cards came out and it didn't take long at all to make them! I love this machine it makes crafting so much easier!

I FINALLY got one!

A Cricut of course hehe! I can't wait to really dig into it and play! I did play with it really fast one night and made something for my hunnie! As some of you know he loves duck hunting so I made him a duckie! The colors aren't the best but I was just trying it out and pulling any color from my scrapbox so this duck is kind colorful haha!

I think I'm going to LOVE this machine!

I just can't believe it..I say it all the time how does time go by so fast?!? All my floors are done and I'm LOVING the laminate flooring it ROCKS! It's so much easier and is beautiful!

DZ Doodles Challenge #7

Hello Hello! I'm back this week to share with you this weeks DZ Doodle challenge. This week we were to sew on our card/project! I decided to do some faux sewing on mine! The image that I used was the "Cupcake Coffee Cup" isn't it SO cute..well since I love tea...it's what it reminded me of.


I also made another card last week using sewing on my card. I just added a little floss on the top right hand corner. I just can't get enough of the NEW golf images that Diane has in the store right now ready to purchase! Since my hubby loves golf it works out perfect!

DZ Doodles Challenge #6

Today is another day for a DZ Doodles Challenge! YAY! This week the design team was challenge to make a card/project using blue and green! I just love these two colors together! Since it was my hubbies birthday last week on the 10th I'd figure this was a perfect time to get his card done! DZ Doodles Challenge #5

I'm here and kicking still..just haven't posted much lately because I got kind of burnt out but I think I'm recovering real fast haha! I will be making more and posting more VERY soon.

Today for DZ Doodles we had a sketch challenge...but, this wasn't any ordinary sketch that we had to use. The design team ladies had to go out and find a sketch to use. So we were all let out on the lose (haha!). I found my sketch from the CardPatterns blog sketch #59. I love using their sketches and they have such great prizes! Here is the card I made using the DZ Doodle image called "girl shopper" isn't she so cute?!?

DZ Doodles Challenge #4

Today is DZ Doodles Challenge #4...YAY! This week we were challenged to use a theme and the theme we had to use was...Spring Break - How do you like to relax? Well my card is using the digital image called "wildflower set" I think the flowers that come up in the spring make me feel very relaxed...they are just so pretty and colorful! DZ Doodles Challenge #3

Here we are going into the 3rd challenge with DZ Doodles! This week the design team was challenged to use the distressing technique on their cards/projects! The Ladies came out with beautiful cards that you can view on the DZ Doodles Blog >>> HERE!

Here is the card that I made with this challenge! I used my distress tool from Close to my Heart to get the effect on the pink cardstock and then I used my brown ink to distress the patterned paper. A Birthday Card!

I haven't made any cards this past week. I have been feeling kind of blahish but, I made this for one of one of my Auntie's Birthday at the beginning of March. I wanted to share since I really love the way it came out.
