I'm so tired tonight had a wonderful day going out shopping with my hubby, my friend and her hubby today! I wanted to come on and post some cards before bedtime. I made the layout (above and the 4 cards below for my workshop last weekend...they were samples on what you can do with the January Stamp of the Month called "Find your Style". DZ Doodles New Release & A New Year!!!

Happy New Year!!!

DZ Doodles is on a roll again starting this New Year off with NEW digital images YAY! I was able to play with one of the many images that will be released today! I thought I would make a digital layout with the image that I received, so you can see how digital images can be used in many different ways...not just printing and coloring and here it is!!! There are so many different ways to use digital images it's wonderful...so if you haven't yet tried them you need to because you will LOVE them. I colored the image using photoshop.

I SCRAPBOOKED 2 PAGES TODAY! YIPPIE!

Trish called me yesterday and said what are you doing tomorrow (which was today) I said I'm not sure what are you doing? she said coming over! haha! She's so cute! I said WOO HOO! What are we gonna work on she said scrap booking! I said ok I'm all for it! I have been wanting to get into scrap booking so bad since I hadn't done it in the last 2 years or so...boy time flies! I needed to fix some letters that were falling off my Cali pages (thanks heidi swapp...all your sticky letters suck! haha!) So, I added glue to all the letters and then worked on 2 pages to add to my book...I forgot to take pictures of Trish's pages but she did a WONDERFUL job for not ever scrap booking! I'm hoping she posts them on her blog so you all can see the great work she did with them.

I have a few more pictures to finish my whole Cali scrapbook from the trip we took to go visit Jen and her awesome family back in Sept. 2006 so after I'm done with this book I'll start on my Cali trip when we visited back in Oct. 2007. I can't believe it's been 2 years since we were in Cali and it seems like just yesterday..I do miss my Jen Jen and her family and the beach!

Close to my Heart Projects!

I did a few projects with the some new goodies that I got from Close to my Heart. The scrapbook kit that I used is called Emporium, the stamp of the month called butterfly wings, bunny love and another stamp set called simply beauty. I just love the way all my projects came out. I did get a few ideas to make some of these from some Close to my Heart consultant blogs around blog land.

Here is a cute little Easter basket that I made. I will have to check with Trish to see where the instructions are posted on this but it's pretty simply you cut your paper 6x6 and score all around at 2. I took a picture before I colored the cute little rabbit Opps!

Wedding album & Lots of Cards!

On to Bigger & BETTER Things...

Last month on May 12th Bree and I FINALLY got to met up and scrap at Memory Lane...we got there about 12ish and scrapped till about 11:30pm. We had lots of fun and I even got to start on the Vegas trip pages. I really love how it's coming along. I will post a few pages now and the rest later.

I woke up this morning and it turned out to be ANOTHER great day!!! 3 days of walking the threadmill and 4 layouts done! I was in a very scrapping mood today. I probably could have got more done but didnt want to burn myself out. So here they are. I just LOVE THEM!

Today was a GREAT day!!!

It did start off a little bad because I woke up from a very bad nightmare but as the day went on it got really good. I got ALOT done which makes me happy. I am going to continue to try to get alot done like this everyday. I did dishes, got a load of laundry done, cleaned up the house a little, walked the threadmill for 20 mins (today was my first day since my back had been hurting me a few weeks ago), took a shower and even scrapped two layouts from the Cali trip. My goal up untill the Vegas trip in 66 days is to walk the threadmill every day from Mon-Fri. and do at least 2 layouts a day to get the Cali trip all finished up.
