Delicious Doodles Challenge!

This last week I was surfing the net and I don't know where or how I came across Delicious Doodles but I LOVE her images they are SO me!  I purchased an image and jumped on the fun challenge on the DT blog.  I know I haven't been around in FOREVER but, I'm trying.  Hubby is still not doing good with his health issues so that's what has kept me away. I'm really trying to get back but don't know how it will go...but I promise to peek in when I can! I do miss it!

Anyways...here is the card I made for the challenge this week.  We were asked to use Poppies!

DZ Doodles - Challenge #10

Well I got some good news of course and bad! I will start with the bad news first and get that over with...Diane the owner of DZ Doodles is going to shut her business down for personal reasons. She does plan to one day come back but of course not to sure when. She is going to be starting a personal blog soon and will share frebbie images so be on the look out when she starts that because it will be very soon! I will post the link to that on the DZ Doodles blog when she gets all that up and running.

So now of course on to the good news! DZ Doodles is having one last challenge and yes there will be winners to go with that Challenge so you don't want to miss out! There is also the cutiest freebie up and I know you don't want to miss that for sure!

It's TIME for Triple Tiara Tuesday!

Hello! I'm back here with you to share with you my Triple Tiara Tuesday challenge! As some of you might know about Queen Kat Designs challenge and if you don't for more info. go on over the the Queen Kat Designs blog to find out more! It's a fun challenge and you can win STAMPS!

This week 3 of the design team members were challenged to make a card and use alcohol inks or distress ink. I choose the distress ink. I love this technique and use it on many of my cards! The card I made today is using one of the NEW stamps that will be released tomorrow, March 2nd at the Queen Kat Designs store! Her name is Vanessa by Samantha Nowak..isn't she a cutie?!?! I distressed the edges around the stamped image on the white piece of cardstock.

Queen Kat Designs - Triple Tiara Tuesday!

Today is the day for Triple Tiara Tuesday! As most of you know I post on the first week of the month along with two other amazing design team members of Queen Kat Designs! Today we were challenged to use embossing dry or heat! I choose dry. I made swiss dots (by using my cuttlebug folder) and added it to my background.
