Here I am once again with another great challenge! This weeks challenge from Modern Sugar Blvd. was brought to you by design team member Dee! This challenge has two parts the first is a sketch. The second part is to use the color purples! Dark purples, light purple any shade of purples also use black and or white. Modern Sugar Blvd. - Challenge #10

Good Morning! I'm here to bring you this weeks challenge from Modern Sugar Blvd. It's brought to you (us) by one of the design team members...Joni! She wanted us all to use a tag anywhere on our card and of course to use any MSB digial image!

I picked the digital image called Precious Hippie Chic that you can find here in the store to purchase if you love her as much as I do! And now for the card I made.

HAPPY 4th of July
everyone!

It's that time again for Modern Sugar Blvd. weekly challenge! This week design team member Jana challenged us all to making a card using the colors Red, White, & Blue/ Cranberry, Navy, & Ivory and we were also to use any MSB 4th of July image.

YAY! it's almost the weekend again..I'm so excited I love the 4th of July and all the pretty fireworks in the air!

Modern Sugar Blvd. - Challenge #8

This week I was chosen to pick the challenge for all the DT members at Modern Sugar Blvd. Of course, you all know how I love sketch challenges so that's what I made up for this weeks challenge. Modern Sugar Blvd. - NEW Releases!!!

Today Modern Sugar Blvd. releases a bunch of NEW digital images!!! I have 3 cards to share with you that I made for today's BIG release...be sure to stop by Modern Sugar Blvd. blog and check out all the cards that the design team has been working hard on for the last week or so...there are going to be samples up for the next few days as well so keep checking back. On my last card I changed the image up a little bit..I used the doggie from the Simply Isabella & Cupcake . That's what is so great about digital images you can take things out or put things in to change them all up and have a different look to them! Isn't it great?

Modern Sugar Blvd. - Challenge #7

I can't believe that I forgot to post on Sat. I've been super busy and I guess my poor little lonely blog just got away from me along with life! I haven't been in my craft room in over a week! I can't believe it...I just know I miss it very much and I will be back in there tomorrow getting things done.

This weeks challenge was by design team member Brandi! She has challenged us to make a card using this sketch, she also wants you to use a flower anywhere on the card and to make it a business size card (size 7 1/2 x 9 1/4 and score at 3 5/8). Modern Sugar Blvd. is also having another big release on Thursday, June 26 so be on the look out for new images and lots of cards using these images by the DT.

Modern Sugar Blvd. - Challenge #6

The design team was challenged by Crystal (a designer here at MSB.) to of course to use this beautiful new image and to make a #10 size card business card (7 1/2 x 9 1/4 and score at 3 5/8). Don't forget to visit MSB blog and check out all of the design team ladies work done with this challenge.

Modern Sugar Blvd. - Challenge #5

Happy Saturday! I'm here to share with you Modern Sugar Blvd's challenge #4! This week we were challenged by Mary...she's one of the sugars on our design team.

She challenged us all to...
ding dong ding dong " Card Wedding". What it basically translates into is... Something old- so go through your paper scraps or ribbons Something new- this where the digi stamps come in Something borrowed- so this would be something that was given by a friend Something blue- pretty self explanatory.

There are going to be a couple of NEW wedding digital releases today so also go check out the store.

BIG DAY! Modern Surgar Blvd - Challenge #4 & New Releases

Today is a BIG day for Modern Sugar Blvd. The store has LOTS of new digital images that will be available to purchase today and on top of that we got a challenge going on. This week the design team ladies were challenged to use the NEW digital image that is being released with all the other newbies today. The image that we all used for today's challenge are these ADORABLE little boots...they are just TOO cute! Head on over to the Modern Sugar Blvd. blog to see the design team's cards using this same image..they all came out so great! LOTS of inspration!

Here are some other cards that I made for today's big release day...it's just using 3 of the digital images on top of all the others that are being released today. Time w/my friend!

Yesterday was a wonderful day...My "angel" friend Mary Jane and I finally got together to stamp. We hadn't done this in a few months and I missed it very much! I worked on swaps, design team stuff and another card that I can share. I don't want to post the swaps yet since I don't want to spoil it for the others in case they come to visit my blog. The stuff that I made for Modern Sugar Blvd. will be posted VERY soon for you to see..we have lots of new releases coming on Sat. May 30th so make sure you come back to visit.

So here is the card that I made yesterday. It's a new set that I had purchased a few months ago and I hadn't even put it together...I don't know why I hadn't its beautiful and I can't wait to create more cards with this set. The set is from Stampin Up called bella blossoms.

I was busy again today in my craft room I can't share with you the other stuff I was doing today but will be able to VERY soon. I can share this card...It's one of the newest digital images from Modern Sugar Blvd. called belly mama...isn't she beautiful? She is for sale in the Modern Sugar Blvd. store right now.

I came across a WONDERFUL blog the other day her name is Amy and her work is SOO inspiring I just LOVE everything on her blog that she shares. She also posts sketches every Friday. I used a sketch that she posted a while back that is here for this card that I made today with belly mama.

Modern Sugar Blvd. - Challenge #3

Today I have something EXTRA sweet to share with ya! Modern Surgar Blvd. has a new SWEET release and another challenge. You can find and purchase the new digital image cupcake delight here at the Modern Sugar Blvd. store and while your there check out all the new digital images that have been released in the last couple of weeks.


This week the design team was challenged to use the new cupcake delight image, we were also to use some yummy colors on our cards which are ivory, brown and pink! And last but not least these digital sketch for some inspiration. I made up this sketch for this weeks challenge.

Here comes the Bride...

My Cousin Leona is getting married this Sat. and so I made her a card and a little paper wedding cake. I was inspired when I was seeing all the ADORABLE little pop up cake cards in blog land. Stampin Up is selling this die cut for the sizzix machines that makes the CUTEST pop up cake and you can decorate it anyway you want it..it's simple ADORABLE! I know I just gotta have it sometime soon...then I'll be going cake crazy haha! Anyways this one is a lot bigger than the pop up card cake. I was really happy the way my first home-made paper cake came out! I just hope she will love it!

Birthday Wishes & A Sneak Peek!

Another one of my bestest friends is celebrating her birthday this month and this is my "Angel" friend MaryJane. Her birthday is today! This amazing lady has been here for me for the last 10 years...she's a very special person in my life...she's so sweet, caring and just all around WONDERFUL! MaryJane I want to wish you a very happy birthday and I hope your day has been filled of wishes coming true and lots of fun because you deserve every bit of it! I love you with all my heart! BIG HUGS to you!

Modern Sugar Blvd. - Challenge #2

This week the design team was challenged to design it YOUR way...choose your own color combo the only thing we were to use was one of the three (or all 3 digital images) that are going to be released today in the Modern Sugar Blvd. store right here! Modern Sugar Blvd. - Challenge #1

Hello Hello! Happy Saturday!

Today is Modern Sugar Blvd's first ever challenge! The design team has been workin it all week to get their cards ready for the big day. We were challenges to use the sketch that I made and the colors hot pink, turquoise and florescent green! The digital image that we all used will also be released in the store today!!! What a day full of fun! You gotta stop by Modern Sugar's blog to see all the cards..they are all great!

It's Bubble Bath Time
