Stress Free Thursday & We challenge YOU!!!

YAY! Trish was able to come and stamp with me yesterday (Thrusday). We hadn't been able to get together for a couple of weeks so we were WAY over do.

We made two really pretty cards with some Stampin Up sets. And we tried out some new colors together and REALLY love how they came out.

On the first card we used the stamp set called embrace life.

On this second card we used the stamp set called fresh cuts. On this card we tried out some diff. colors and would like to challenge you to make one with these colors as well because we want to see what others come up with using the same colors.

Pink Cat Studio - Tuesdays Challenge

Hello friends! I have been neglecting blog land for the last few days. Things got a little crazy here in my life and REALLY busy! I think now I'm back to normal "knock on wood" but we will see on the days to come. I really need to catch up on commenting and visiting blogs which I will probably be doing this week.

Michelle from Pink Cat Studio's design team challenged us this month to make something with a fall theme. I'm SO excited for fall to be here! The mornings and evenings are starting to get a little cooler and I'm loving it!!! I'm ready for summer heat to END! With that here is my card that I made for this challenge. The stamp set I used is Limitless Limbs and it is of course one of Pink Cat Studio's awesome stamp sets!

Another TAC Sketch & Fun with Trish

This was another sketch challenge and my card that I did for the TAC message board.

Then I've been promising to post the project and cards that me and Trish made at her house last Sat. when I went over to stamp with her.

First we made these cute little designer bags. She found the tutorial for them here http://cambriaturnbow.blogspot.com/2008/07/designer-bags.html . Aren't they the CUTEST things ever??? They are soooo simple to make!

I also made one last week for this VERY sweet girl that works at the Vet's office where we take our dogs. She is always so sweet to us and my doggies so I filled it up with kisses and lip gloss.

We also made these cute little cards with last month stamp of the month from The Angel Company.

And last but not least a picture I took with my bestest friend Trish and her baby. We always want to take a picture together and seem to always forget. I'll try my best to get one the next time I see her.

TAC Challenges

I'm on a message board with TAC reps only...that I joined a couple weeks ago and I just love it. They have a challenge for everyday of the week which I love! I don't do ALL of them but I did do two of them last week and I'm barely getting around to posting them right now. I plan on working on the challenges they posted this last week today...just don't know if I'll ever get to my scraproom haha!

The first was a sketch challenge...here is the sketch and the card I made.

For the next card I used two challenges for one card. The challenge from TAC was to use these colors...

Yellow
Green
White
Kraft

And I used the sketch from Splitcoast Stampers. I seen alot of others using it on their blogs and just LOVED it and had to try it.

This has got to be one of my favorite cards...I just LOVE the colors, the sketch and the stamp. The stamp is from a set called Just Dream from The Angel Company.

Trish and I were not able to get together for our "stress free" Thrusday this week but, we were able to get together last Sat. at her house and made a couple of cards and a cute little project that I will be posting VERY soon!

A Recipe layout & Cards...

This last Sunday was our Stampin Up circle. The last time we all met up we had a pot luck and had to bring something homemade with a recipe. Then we all decided to make a recipe card of what we made and bring it with us this last time to swap with the other SU ladies.

I didn't make my pie last time but I did take it this time with my recipe. Here is the recipe page I made for the swap. It's a 6x6.

These are the two cards we made during our circle. The first one is made with one of the new stamps called Inspired By Nature which I totally LOVE!!! I'm not sure what the name of the set is on the 2nd card but, we did use the NEW Big Shot to cut the little birdie out...isn't he cute?

TAC Swap Cards...

The girls that come every month to my house for The Angel Company circle decided that we should do a swap. Every time we meet we decide on one stamp set for all of us to use so that we can get many different ideas to use with that one set. The girls then stamp the images on one sheet of white card stock then the next time they come they bring 5 cards made with the images they stamped to swap. Last month was the first month to do this and all the cards were WONDERFUL!!! I wanted to post them all on my blog to share so here they are!

Stress Free Thursday & Stamping w/Trish!

YAY! another fun stress free Thursday stamping w/Trish. It was funny today because me and Trish were trying to think of a title we can use for our posts on Thursday since we get together just about every Thursday to stamp and then I post what we made together. I just LOVE that she spends her days off to come and stamp with me and we make the cutest little projects.

Today we made the cutest little 3x3 boxes and some cards to match...of course we got the idea and the tutorial from the AMAZING, MOST INSPIRING chic I know...Jennifer! Here are the cards I made to put inside the box..I know a few more cards will fit in the box so I may make some more later.

Here is Trish's box with the cards she made...she didn't get to finish them because she couldn't stay as long as she usually does because she had dinner plans. I got to take a picture of her finished little box and half done cards. She said she wanted to add rub ons and some other things to the cards. I just love her little box she used the new scallop punch and made scallops on the sides of her lid which I didn't get a pic of but it was REALLY cute!

Pink Cat Studio - Sneak Peek Day 3

Pink Cat Studio - Aug. Sneak Peek DAY 1

YAY! today is Day 1 for some sneak peek's from Pink Cat Studio. Melissa has two awesome stamp sets coming out that will be released on Aug. 6th.

Dawn's Pink Cat Studio Challenge

One of the design team memebers Dawn challenged us this week to use fabric on our card. At first I was freaking out thinking WHAT IN THE WORLD AM I GONNA MAKE??? Then I came across those iron on levi material at Hobby Lobby and thought this will be PERFECT! I just got a new sewing machine from Hancock Fabrics about a month ago so I was really excited to use fabric and sew on my card. I know I need A lot more practice but, I'll get there.
