I'm back!

It felt GREAT to get back into my scrap room today and make cards! I still can't believe it was just about a month since I made my last card..I think that's the longest I've gone without making a card in a LONG time.

The first card I did was made with one of the NEW images that will be released soon to the Modern Sugar Blvd. store. I used the sketch that was posted on Mojo Monday's blog for this weeks challenge #84 posted right here. I typed up the saying on word and added it to my card.

The second card I made..I used one of the NEWEST digital images called "It's a blog thing" that is available to purchase right now! She can be found here. I also used last weeks sketch that was posted on Mojo Monday's blog to inspire me. You can find sketch #83 right here.

And finally last but not least another card with another image that will be released VERY soon down at Modern Sugar Blvd's store and well your there check out all the cute digital images that are for sale they are super cute and I will be getting some more card samples made with the more images VERY soon! A New Store Open & A New DT!

Hello Ladies..I just wanted to let you all know that a NEW store is opening and TODAY is the day it opened it's called Modern Sugar Blvd. There are 21 design team members and I'm happy to say I'm ONE of them! YAY! A lot of the DT members have sneak peeks on their blogs so make sure to go on over and visit and leave them some love on the wonderful work they have been doing (all of their links are on my side bar). And don't forget to follow up on Modern Sugar Blvd's blog here to keep up with all the fun stuff that's coming up soon!

In Loving Memory...

I'm sorry I haven't been around for the last week or two. My Uncle Eloy passed away on April 8th and we buired him on April 14th so it was a long 7-8 days. I will miss him so much he was a very caring man and had been sick for the last 15-20 years so I understand that he doesn't have to suffer any longer and he is in heaven. This is a picture of us about 5 years ago when we went to Chimayo before his kindey transplant.

A few days before he passed on I made him a little something...

Ah Spring!

I made this card last week for a sketch challenge that Card Patterns posted it was sketch #8 and of course it's late like everything else has been here on my blog LOL! I just can't get with it..I'm trying! A lot going on here in my life.

The stamp I used is from Peachy Keen Stamp store. The set is called Shower Peepers and you can find them and purchase them here. Aren't they just too cute? I love them!

Close to my Heart Projects!

I did a few projects with the some new goodies that I got from Close to my Heart. The scrapbook kit that I used is called Emporium, the stamp of the month called butterfly wings, bunny love and another stamp set called simply beauty. I just love the way all my projects came out. I did get a few ideas to make some of these from some Close to my Heart consultant blogs around blog land.

Here is a cute little Easter basket that I made. I will have to check with Trish to see where the instructions are posted on this but it's pretty simply you cut your paper 6x6 and score all around at 2. I took a picture before I colored the cute little rabbit Opps!

Pixie Dust!

As a lot of people know I LOVE Tinkerbell..and if you didn't know...now you know haha! I love all fairy's they make me smile! There are not very many Tinkerbell stamps out there so I figured I'd use a coloring book image that I found a while back online and make a card with it. Lately I've been into digital images..I thought this would be perfect! So here is the card that I made and I also paper pieced the wings, dress and shoes...isn't she so cute? I'm a little late on the sketch challenge but I did use the sketch from Mojo Monday #79.

Trish and I got together and made a really cute Easter basket. I'm not 100% completely done so I will post that in the next few days along with a few other things I have done...I'm late on posting.

Wind go away...So I can pick the Spring Flowers!

UGH! today is so windy, cold and ugly outside. The dirt is flying everywhere!!!

Today Pink Papery design team ladies were challenges to do WHATEVER we wanted! So I picked the basket girl from the line called between us girls. Pink Papery has this digital image for sale in the store. I just so wish it was nice enough to actually go out and pick the flowers!
