My favorite Childhood Memory

My favorite childhood memory would have to be when I was in about the 5th grade and my baby brother was born. I had begged my Mom & Dad for a brother or sister forever and finally my dream had come true. I remember when it was almost time for my Mom to have him and for about 2 weeks I would go into my 5th grade class room and my teacher Mrs. Rhode would ask me every single morning when I would walk in...is he here yet??? and finally about 2 weeks later I walked in and said YES HE'S HERE!!! I was so excited that I finally got a sibling. I was the only child for 11 years so it was awesome!!!! I would play with him like if he was a little doll and he was my baby haha! Now I wish I could send him back haha yea right! He's a pain in the butt but I love him so very much!!!! This is a pic of me and him about the time he was just born. I had him wearing my cabbage patch glasses doesn't he look soo darn cute haha!

oooh Val what a great picture and an awesome memory. I was the baby of the family - so I never got to experience younger siblings - but I did become an Aunt at age 4 - so that was cool. I got chills reading this - very cool!

I just love old pictures like that! I'm going to have to go to my parents house and find some of me when I was little! I have a younger sister - and she has her moments still that I would gladly have her taken by anybody!
